Scorpio is an unexpected collaboration between an unconventional love song and a deep admiration for the neighborhood I grew up in. Following the advice of a teacher to "just go on a walk, document it, and see what happens" the footage was collected around my neighborhood, during a time when i was learning to really love suburbia and the comfort of familiarity. The piece is reminiscent of a scrapbook collage, piecing together all the random images that stood out to me that day. At the same time, I had been reviewing some old song demos that were sent to me, and I felt that one song in particular really guided my mood that day. The result was a spontaneous music video.

Footage was filmed on an old DSLR, and mashed together using masking and overlays. Visuals were filmed around Rexdale and within the Woodbine Center, with some repurposed animations from older projects.
